Northwest Harvest Benefit is Oct. 7

Find your dancing shoes and prepare for “An Evening in Paris” because Seattle Singles Yacht Club is hosting it’s 25th race and party to raise money for Northwest Harvest, a local food bank. In addition to a silent and live auction, there will be a catered dinner and dancing to music provided by The Tropics. French themed attire is encouraged, but not required. Just dress to have a great time and support Northwest Harvest!

The 24th Annual Benefit Sail and Powerboat Race starts at noon and the winners will be announced during an awards ceremony preceding dinner.  Through fundraising and food collection, SSYC has provided more than one million  meals to Washington State residents in the past 24 years. Last year this event raised over $24,000 for Northwest Harvest and donated a 1,000 pounds of food.

Special thanks to our very generous sponsors: Adam’s Moving Service and the winning skippers of the Kirkland Summer Sailing Series. Their donations will help Northwest Harvest help even more of our less fortunate neighbors this winter.
